When I try to wind down after a long day, I need a little help to settle down. And I often get that help from music.

Yoga doesn't have to be so stuffy - rap music, r&b, and hip-hop are full of affirmations that help me wind down and tap into a higher me.

One of my goals is to make yoga more accessible. Not just yoga, but affirmation, rest, and wellness as well. The music that I grew up on - and other members of my community grew up on - helps remind me that I deserve to rise, to climb, to be.
